Patient’s Charter

parking

 


Parking spaces, distributed in North, South, East and Western establishment, are at the disposal of the visitors, the ambulances, the consultants, the personnel and the doctors is 596 places at your disposal. We would ask you to be careful with the flower-beds and trees as well as to keep within the clearly designated space. Please do not park in spaces reserved for ambulances or disabled persons. These are essential for the efficient running and safety of the establishment.
Management takes no responsibility for damage or theft in relation to parked vehicles.
We also advise you not to block any access needed by the fire service..

Animals are not allowed inside the clinic.


religion

 

During your hospitalisation, you may, if you so wish, be visited by a minister from your chosen religion. The Catholic Chaplaincy Team is also at your disposal and will visit you in your room should you so desire. The clinic has its own private chapel (located on level -1).

flowers

 

For reasons of hygiene, we would ask you not to bring plants in pots to the clinic. Cut flowers are allowed if authorised by the nursing staff. Please tell your visitors about this regulation.

valuables

 

In order for you to enjoy your stay, we would ask you not to bring valuables with you, or money. If, however, you have such items, small sums of money, bank cards and jewellery can be handed over to the Staff Nurse responsible for your unit, or to the secretary who will furnish you with a receipt and deposit such items in the Clinic’s safe. No responsibility will be accepted by the establishment in case of theft.

prostheses

 

If you wear a dental appliance or any kind of prosthesis, or indeed glasses, please inform the nursing staff who will provide the necessary arrangements. The clinic takes no responsibility in cases of theft or damage to such devices.

safety precautions during your stay

 

FIRE REGULATIONS:
 In our establishment, current regulations concerning fire hazards are applied; guidelines for evacuating the premises are displayed in all rooms and common areas. Whatever the situation, it is vital to remain calm and to follow the instructions given by staff who are trained to deal with these types of incidents.

TOBACCO:
 Prohibition to smoke is regulated since February 1,2007 and applies to all the buildings of the establishment and its principal accesses (a space smoker is arranged on the terrace of rez of roadway, behind the central staircase).

Hygiene :
 The clinic provides a clean and cared for environment which should be respected by both patients and their visitors; damage to any of the clinic’s property will not be tolerated.

committee for the precention of nosocomial infesctions (CLIN)

 

Composed of doctors, biologists and medical personnel, CLIN has established hygiene procedures which form an integral part of a programme for preventing and monitoring the risk of infection. We would advise you to comply with the various guidelines regarding hygiene which are given to you (showers and other basic preparations necessary before your hospitalisation).

Your pain is constantly taken into consideration, the medical team is there to listen to you, ready to help you and to alleviate any suffering. Medical staff are responsible for organising pain control.
